DIA 1- CUSCO- TAMBOMACHAY – PATABAMBA
We will begin the day picking you up from your hotel around 6:00 am in our private transport, we will drive for approximately 4 hours through the Tambomachay ( 3800 m.s.n.m / 12,467 ft ) ceremonial center dedicated to honoring water, From here, we will start trekking along the way, we’ll ascend for 3 hours until we reach the first pass of our excursion ( 4100 m.s.n.m 13,451 ft ).Along this part of the route, you’ll be able to enjoy some awe-inspiring views of Cusco city and surrounding mountains. After another hour,we’ll arrive at Qoricocha lake. This spectacular location is the perfect place to enjoy delicious lunch and enjoy the pretty surrounfings.
After eating, we’ll ascend for 45 minutes second pass, which is the highest point of our entire trek (4,200 m /13,780 lf). From here, the rest of the day is downhill. For 4 hours,we’ll fertile valleys, a fabulous canyon, and a portion of the original Inca Trail. Our camp will be on one of the Huchuy Qosqo terraces (3,600 m/ 11,811 ft). Once we get there, you’ll enjoy a spectacular dinner and some well-deserved rest.
DIA 2 – PATABAMBA – HUCHUY QOSQO – AGUAS CALIENTES
After breakfast we will head towards the Pukamarca Pass (4150 meters/ 13,615 feet) where we will have a magnificent view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. At the pass we will descend for about 30 minutes until we reach the community of Pumamarka for our lunch. After lunch we will continue our walk towards Puma Punku Canyon (also known as Puma Gate), and from here we will enter the original Inca Trail that was restored as part of the Qhapac Ñan project. We will follow the trail to the archaeological center of Huchuy Qosqo (“small Cusco”) located above the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Here our guide will show us the sacred temples, talk about the Andes, and teach us about the Incan culture.
After exploring Huchuy Qosqo we will descend for 2 hours more towards the small town of Lamay (2800 meters/ 9186 feet) in the Sacred Valley. In Lamay a bus will be waiting for us to take us to Ollantaytambo where we will take the train to Aguas Calientes. Once we arrive in Aguas Calientes we will have dinner together and then settle into our hotel rooms for the night.
DAY 3: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
The grand finale! We will wake up very early this morning for our visit to Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour of the citadel to see and learn about temples, terraces, and all of the incredible stone structures that make Machu Picchu a Wonder of the World. After the guided tour you will have free time for more photos and to continue exploring on your own. For those who have previously selected to climb *Huayna Picchu Mountain or *Machu Picchu Mountain, you will do so at your designated time (1st group: 6am to 8am, 2nd group: 9am to 11am)
After your tour in the park you will return to Aguas Calientes where you will wait for your return train to Ollantaytambo at 6:20pm. From Ollantaytambo we will take our final return bus back to Cusco.
BRIEFING:
Prior to departure you will have a meeting with your guide in our office to go over all the details regarding your tour. The orientation will be at 6:00 pm the night before your trip.
CAMPING EQUIPMENT:
Tents, sleeping pads, cooking tent, dining tent, tables, chairs, and cooking utensils.
EXPERIENCE OF OUR GUIDES:.
All of our guides have a minimum of 3 years of guiding experience. They are professional, responsible, and all have a deep love and respect for mother nature and her mountains. They will make sure your trip is safe and enjoyable.
FIRST AID:
All of our guides are certified in high mountain first aid training. They always carry a first aid kit on our treks (including pills for altitude sickness, diarrhea, vomiting, cuts, and cream for muscle aches). They also carry extra oxygen in cases of emergency.
TRANSPORTATION
Our private transport vehicles will come pick you up at your hotel the morning of your trip and take you to your trek starting point. You will also return in our vehicles to Cusco at the end of the trek.

- Ticket to Machu Picchu.
- Ticket to train ticket – Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo.
CAMPING EQUIPMENT
We included:
- 1 tent for every 2 people: the tents that we offer to our customers are spacious, with intial capacity for 4 people, but we only use them for 2 people
- Sleeping mats with a thickness of 7 centimeters

2 BREAKFASTS, 2 LUNCHES, AND 2 DINNERS:
Our talented chefs will prepare you a delicious and filling breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout your trek. Our clients have loved the food prepared for them on their treks, and our chefs are also able to accommodate any dietary restrictions (such as vegetarian or vegan) at no extra cost. Please let your guide know at orientation if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies so we can organize them ahead of time.
